Antonia is our last afghan bitch being shown. Shown for the first time when 7 months old, she took Best Puppy In Show at the French National Specialty in 1999. The following month she was shown at the US National Specialty Show and won both days the 6 to 9 class, Sweepstake and Regular.

In March 2000, she left for Uruguay for 6 months where she stayed with my dear friend Karina Ptasevich. Karina showed her succefully to her championship in Uruguay and Brazil and kept her till September. During this time, Antonia won many group 1st, many reserve BIS and her first all breed BIS at 14 months old!

A record for an European Afghan.

Back with us in September 2000,Antonia has been shown in many countries as well as the 2000 US national where she took 2nd place in Bred-By.On the Cuban and Mexican circuit November 2000,she took 7 group 1rst and a BIS.

Her successes in the ring were not to end there,in 2001,Antonia started the year with a big Reserve BIS at the Porto International Show. In March,she  was to be shown again in the US, for the Viginia's Specialties. On that weekend, she took 5 points major on the first day under breeder judge Donna BROUCEK;the second day she went second in her class under Sandy FREI and the third day,she took 5 points, BOW and SBIS from the classes over 29 top Specials,under Bonnie VISSER.

On June 2001, Antonia was shown at the World Championship Show in Portugal and won the WORLD Championship title, took BOB and finally won the Group over BIS winners.

Since the WORLD show, she has been actively in the ring and did some great wins. In August, she won the Portuguese National SBIS under Ana Mesto. The following week end she finished her Gibraltar championship.

In September, she was shown at the French National and went SBIS from the classes!!!!!!! Early October, she took another all breed BIS in Perpignan (France) International show (1500dogs).

 In November, we showed her again in the US in  order to try to achieve her title....

At the Houston Specialty, she took a 5 points major reserve under Gene Jantos (Province).

She did finish her title in great style, going WINNERS BITCH, BEST OF WINNERS at the American National Specialty show under respected breeder judge Betsy Hufnagel (Cavu)!!!!!!!!!

Antonia has been shown 7 times in the US, finished her title with 3 x  5 points specialty majors, BOW at the National and a SBIS from the classes!!!!!! Another record to break..........
